Synopsis

Death takes a vacation on Earth to try to find out why humans fear him. Taking on the body of Joe Black, a young man recently killed in a car accident, he finds himself trying to understand humans and so gets to know a powerful business named William Parish. As Parish teaches Death about the nature of humans, Death falls in love with Parish's beautiful daughter. Unfortunately, white on Earth, no-one in the world can die and the more he stays with the woman, the more people will suffer because they cannot die.
