Synopsis

Steve Martin stars as Bobby Bowfinger, a shameless and sneaky producer desperate to make it big in Hollywood, in spite of the fact that he is broke and unconnected. His plans are thwarted when he is unable to land Hollywood's hottest action star, Kit Ramsey (Murphy) for the lead role in his movie. Undaunted, Bowfinger decides to make the film with Ramsey anyway, except Kit won't know he's in it--the movie is filmed around, behind, in front and above him, until Kit starts to wonder if he's the victim of too many co-incidences, or on the path to a major nervous breakdown!
