Upon learning that he was adopted from Quebec, Michel, a Belgian inventor, tells everyone he’s going to Montréal on business, but he’s really going to look for his biological parents. His search brings him to the village of Sainte-Cécile, where he was secretly born in a barn. Just as he is about to give up and return home to Belgium, he meets a man driving an anachronistic electric car. On the road to Montreal, they have an accident that will change not only their lives but also the future of the automobile industry.
